Hey everyone, I have been working hard on my game and have honestly fallen back in love with the game of golf in the past 3 months! My coach has inspired me and really put things into perspective for me and I am now enjoying the process of getting better and the game a lot more than I ever have before! I am playing in some mini tour events here in Florida, and will be starting on the Symetra Tour soon. I am heading out west to Vancouver Island shortly for a Canadian Women's Tour event and to see my family and catch up with them, and then I head to Minnesota for the US Women's Open qualifier. After that I will be on the road with the Symetra Tour for the rest of the season! I have updated my schedule and my goals if you would like to take a look!
Thanks and hope everyone is great and ready for golf season to start up!!

Decemeber 2013
Hello Everyone!
Just wanted to send out a quick note wishing everyone a Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
I am in Penticton right now with my family, and we are heading to Victoria in a few days to spend Christmas at my brothers with him and his Fiancé Megan!
After Christmas I will be heading back to Florida for the New Year to start working on my golf game again and getting ready for the upcoming season.
The past year on the Symetra Tour was a building year for me. I worked harder on fine-tuning my golf swing and am still constantly working on the changes while also making new ones that will eventually lead to a more technically sound and consistent golf swing.
I had a rough year on the mental side of the game where I was feeling very down and low about how things were progressing. I couldn’t seem to get out of my slump that I was in with my confidence and it was so shaken that there was a point I seriously considered giving up the game.
After the season ended for me in October I took a solid 2 months off of golf to reflect and relax and to see if it was something that I really wanted to keep pursuing or to give it up. After those 2 months I got back into it and realized that golf is something that I truly love and that it wasn’t quite time for me to pack it in. I came to the realization that going through big swing changes is something that takes a lot of patience and it is not something that can happen overnight where you see the results you want. So my motto for the upcoming season is:
Patience.
Fun.
Confidence.
I feel that if I truly believe in these 3 words throughout the season, that no matter how I do everything will be ok in the end.
The Symetra Tour starts in February this year and they have added numerous tournaments to the schedule, which is really great for us. I will also be playing on the CN Canadian Women’s Tour and also trying to qualify for a few LPGA events such as the US. Open, Canadian Open, and others.
To get ready for the upcoming season I will play in a few events on the Suncoast Tour, which is based out of the Orlando area in Florida. Hopefully this gets me back into the swing of competitiveness and will show me what areas I have to really work hard on before the season fully starts in February!
Just wanted to thank you all for your continuous support in my dream of being a professional golfer and I hope that you and your families all have a great Christmas and lets hope that 2014 is the best year yet for all of us!
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Kirby Dreher
